I'm trying to talk the BF into going. Getting him to take off work long enough is the issue. Started off a nice day but rain has come again and will again tomorrow. We have flooding all over if y'all haven't seen the news, I've shared some pics on FB for those who are on my page. This is very sad and it's getting worse. These people are being forced from their homes, and we are having levee breaches and record breaking crests. The last thing we needed was more rain. My heart breaks for those people. I have a friend that's a 'nuther' Vette owner. He grabbed an '88 from the bank in his area (New Mexico) it needs work, but mechanically it's very sound. It's white with silver dual vinyl which needs replaced, interior is nasty and looks like previous beaner owner recovered the seats in what looks like denim. Console lid is missing, so then are his RPO codes. Anyone know where I can track those down? I have his VIN and that's it. I told him where to find his build sheet. He bought this thing for a spirited daily driver to work and back and a tinker toy. |
