Re: SUNDAY MORNING 16 JULY

Good Morning CGs!

Wife is at work so I'm running the ship today. Already got the kids up, washed and dressed, and fed. Got the grass cut and cleaned up so I can't say I was completely useless today. Getting ready for a workout now.

I did some diagnosis on the car yesterday. Switch and wiring are good. Visual inspection revealed a broken plastic piece that the seat adjustment cable connects to. Awesome. Non serviceable and a poor design using plastic instead of metal or a different mounting style. The rumor is you can't glue this specific plastic and there are no replacement parts. You have to buy a "rebuilt" track from one of the vendors. I call BS. I have a new type of glue/hardener called Q-bond. It's like super glue on steroids. It uses glue along with a powder hardening agent and it hardens like metal. I did that last night and it looks promising on first inspection. I'll know once I get it all put back together and installed.

Hope everyone has a great day!
