Subject: Re: FRIDAY THE TWENTYTOOTH by Ultraman on 2017/7/22 15:08:56 Was talking to the bookkeeper yesterday and he mentioned it was about 1965 that they got AC in their house.....which got me to thinking that was about the same time that my Ma told Pa she wasn't going to spend another Kansas summer without AC in the house. So the old man went to sears and got this big ole window unit and cut a hole in the living room wall and put it in and trimmed around it kind of like in a motel. Wow...what a difference that made. Life would never be the same again. Was out mowing at 9:30 last night and it was still hot......got it done though.....but wow.....this must be like Florida is in the summer.......
