Re: SATURDAY MORNING

Morning guys....slept pretty good and it's a beautiful morning. Waiting on daughters to show up from KC. Went down and ate breakfast and now sitting here for my turn at the shower.

Talked to several of brother contemporaries last night, I was wearing my South Dakota Corvette shirt (Marcus has seen it), so they were asking if I had one. One was telling me about his first one and I told him "You gave me a ride in that one." He didn't remember that, but I do. 68, 427/435 4 speed monster.. He said, "Did I give you a good ride?" "Oh yea, just fueled my love and desire to have one." He now has a white 2000. He told me I was lucky, as his wife won't hardly get in his to ride. I know, Rosie is a trouper, putting up with my shenanigans.

Another one is the guy that helped me find my first one. After a little thought he said was that the silver one? "Yup". He had two at the time a 56 and a 65 396 roadster. I asked him if he still had them...." Still have the 56. But the 65 I sold when I was going through my divorce." Before the guy took he was already regretting his decision. He still is involved with cars and wrenches on race cars. I remember him as a "fonzy type", and still has that aura around him.

Tose are pretty pricey floor mats, Tommy. But I imagine someone will buy them. Have a great day!
