I'm getting closer to solving the mystery of the foaming beer. Doing some more reading it seems that when the beer line in the tower gets warm (lack of air circulation) then it foams for the first few ounces. Pour more beer on top of foam and it foams even more. Temporary solution is pour the first few ounces into one glass and set aside. Then the second glass is a good pour with cold beer from the keg. Next step is to wire up an old computer fan to circulate cold air into the tower. I'm also going to insulate the outside of the tower. Man, having a kegerator sure is a lot of work! Hope everyone has a great day! |
