I started working on my big printer (HP Designjet 500) as the main drive belt fell apart last spring and I finally got around to get the new belt ordered earlier this week. It is a major undertaking, but luckily, there is a great youtube video showing how to do the job, made by the company who supplies the new parts. Took me just over 3 hours to complete. Then I decided to replace printheads, well that probably wasn't a good thing as the printheads I had were dated 2007 and one, the magenta, didn't want to work. I'll order another new set. Cool again this morning, looking for a high in the mid 60s. Quite cloudy too. Doors are supposed to be here tomorrow, so I'll go out and do a couple little jobs for some people to fill the time today. I hope everyone here has a great day. |
