Good to hear things went well for most everyone. Marcus is licking his wounds, Brad is trying to stay warm, Gris is buying and selling guns. John is reminiscing about his service (thank you for your service John), Tommy is recovering from his deliveries and I was very busy today.

Tonight was the Pheasants Forever banquet. I went out to eat and see how the five items I donated did at the auction. The first one was a clock I made, I had made two that featured the PF logo. I hoped for $30...it sold for $60.....I was tickled. The second one was a "silent auction" piece. Then I had three cutting boards, that I made from left over counter top material from the last kitchen job and I cut the logo and a recess around the edge 9" x 12". I was hoping they would bring $50-60. The bidding started and went to $175....I thought, "They must be selling all of them at once......nope, they sold for $175/each! I was so happy, $525 for the cutting boards, $60 for the one clock and, at last check, the silent auction one was at $30. I came home a very happy boy.
