WE KEEP THREE CREDIT CARDS, ONE THAT DW HABITUALLY USES, ONE THAT I HABITUALLY USE AND ONE FOR ONLINE PURCHASES. WE'VE HAD A COUPLE OF THESE TO-DO'S. USAA IS REALLY ALERT TO UNUSUAL CHARGES. A FEW YEARS BACK THEY BLOCKED DARLING WIFE WHEN SHE TRIED TO BUY GROCERIES IN COLORADO; SHE WAS NOT AMUSED. I WAS BOTH AMUSED AND IMPRESSED.
MATT, I HATE TO EXPOSE MY IGNORANCE, BUT WHY DOES THIS CREDIT OUTFIT NEED MY SSN IF THEY ARE ALREADY RATING MY CREDIT WORTHINESS? OR ARE THEY? HOW DOES THAT WORK?
