That date has lasted 46 years. I never dated anyone else after that. I guess it was a sure thing to me. 4 years later we married. Supposed to be warm again today, almost 60, but the other shoe falls Thursday and into the foreseeable future. Below zero Saturday night and Sunday night. Santa is going to be right at home down here on his trek Christmas eve. I am going to make some pens/pencils today. SIL said something this weekend how much he liked one of the wine stoppers I made (Zebrawood and black chrome), so I thought I'd make a pen and pencil set for him in that combination. Going to be a busy week. Helping Rosie with her Christmas basket project a couple days with the big day being Friday when they come to pick up their baskets/gifts. Really a neat program that is funded by generous donations from the community. Usually serve 90-110 families. Makes you feel blessed for what you have. I hope and trust that each one here will have a great day. |
