Sumbitch .... This month is flying. 18th already. Went to WallyWorld last night to pick up an EverStart battery for Sue's 911. The one I bought two years ago wouldn't hold a charge. 3 year replacement, 5 year prorated so I brought it back for a new one. Johnson Controls battery. One of the batteries was labeled the same but had a different case and had MADE IN GERMANY stamped on it. I already knew the battery I bought initially sucked so what the hell. It shouldn't be any worse. Same markings on the outside. WE'll see how it goes. Still have a year left on free replacement. Went to leave the store and the S-10 wouldn't start. Nothing. Turned the key and the lights did not dim and the starter did not engage. I called Sue. She was on her way home from a festival. For the hell of it I tried some cables but that did nothing. Ended up push starting it (stick shift) to get it home. Looks like I'll have to put it on the list for Tuesday. Yesterday was freakin nuts. Dog escapes, dog fight, snake (black racer) next to the tortoise pen, squirrel running on my screen trying to figure a way to raid the bird seed from the cage cups. Hoping for a calmer day today. Dreading an issue I'll have to deal with before long. The shower faucet, you know, the single handle hot/cold water type that rests behind the wall? It has a drip. A continuous f@(%ing drip. Well, it's a new day. Let's get on with it.
