We have a really nice FlexSteel leather couch, chair and ottoman that has sat in the front room since we bought it back in 99 or 2000. The leather, although we always took care of it, faded from the UV. Six years ago I had stain matched and once I got it, I figured I'd have some time to do, but never seemed to find the time. Yesterday, I was looking for something else in a cabinet, and ran across the kit and decided this was the time to do it. It is a LOT of work sanding the leather with the prepping agent, cleaning and re-staining it. But the results are wonderful, they look nearly like new. I spent 5 1/2 hours today working on it. |
