Subject: St. Patrick's sadness, RIP my Sofie by CorvetteBob on 2018/3/17 14:12:21 It's with extreme sadness that I make this posting. For the past ten years we have had the privilege of of an angel living in our home. Her name is Sofie. She came to us from local humane society and immediately turned our house upside down, all the while wagging her tail and bringing smiles to everyone she met. Although she could be known for expressing her opinions, she really did not have a mean bone in her body. About a year ago, she developed a watery sack on her left chest. It soon began to harden and was removed. A few months later it returned, and this process repeated until we put her on a steroid to curb the growth. We had to have one more taken off. Sadly my girl could not take the strain of it all and passed in the night last night, leaving a huge hole in our family. Sofie is a mix of Bassett Hound, Beagle, and Handsome Stranger, and she was my best girlfriend. |
