Subject: Re: 3-20-2018 chit chat by teebee on 2018/3/20 13:34:13 Not sure where everyone is, I'm up later than usua. Rosie got up normal time and went to work, I stayed in bed for another hour. We have 2 GDs with us this week and they are still asleep. I'm still laying low recovering from my hernia surgery, but have been doing a little more as each day goes by. Today, I'll work in the shop a bit. I bought a 'new' control box for the CNC. It is supposed to make it faster and more accurate. It came in last week while we were gone, Yesterday I unpacked it and put together, today I'll try to get it hooked up correctly and see if I can get it to run. I need to finish up a laptop computer that crashed during a Win10 update.....as much as I like Win10, it sure has issues with some computers, or Microsoft doesn't test it very good. It bricked this laptop and I've had a heck of a time bringing it back without losing the data. I finally got it going, but with Win7...don't think we are going back to Win10. Spent all day and part of the night yesterday trying to get it to install...finally gave up and reverted back to 7. Supposed to be less windy today and warmer. The rain they promised turned out to be a Western Kansas 10" rain....a drop here and 10" away over another drop. Drought here is getting real serious.
