One night back in 69 or it may have been 70 I was living in Scottsbluff and we got a hankering for some Coors Beer so a couple of us jumped in my 65 Roadster and headed to Sterling Colorado. Road trip....... back then they had a pretty active cruise night going...as did all the towns of any size back then. There was a red white and blue AMX cruising the streets.....so we caught a light and torched them off and he jumped me at the start and I never lost ground but could not catch up......and he was pulling away....... that was my only experience with the AMX......but I had some respect for those Ramblers after that....... We did get some beer and meet some local chicks and.......the rest fades off in the mists of time.......  |
