Good Morning CGs!

Yes Marcus, cold here and I'm none too pleased. I'm really getting burnt out with the weather.

Got my shiny tools dirty yesterday, the horror. My buddy has a little twin turbo BMW that was leaking coolant. Had to open it up a little and do some exploratory surgery. Found out the water pump (bottom of the engine bay) is toast. It's an electric unit and just poorly designed or manufactured. They are well known on the internet forums for going bad at 50,000 miles. This car had it replaced once at 90k and it has 135k now. A new water pump and tstat housing run about $450. And you thought Corvettes were expensive. Didn't change it out, didn't have the part or the time. Maybe once it warms up a bit.

Glad the bloodwork was good, Gris. Sure is handy having a daughter who is a vet

Hope everyone has a great day!
