I dropped the kids off at school, ran to the post office, and came home and did some chores in the yard. For the past few hours I've been setting up a used laptop for my friend's HS age son. He needs it to finish classes to graduate and waited until the last minute. His dad was scrambling to find something and I had this spare one sitting in the garage. It was left by my cousin and it needed an overhaul. TB will appreciate this...8 year old laptop and never had one security update. So I just finished downloading 54 updates and they are installing. I also put on some antivirus software and cleaned up the hard drive. He's a good kid, though, so I don't mind doing it. Hope everyone has a great day! |
