Matt, can you not get your deposit back? To me, that's considered locking up the contract when a deposit is given. then when they don't show up and DO call, with a good reason. Okay. but no call no show - that to me is a breach of contract and I'd expect my deposit back. Return on items ordered is their problem unless they want to make good on me staying home waiting all day, loss of work, loss of pay, etc. That kinda mess pisses me straight off. I'm self employed so no workie no monie
