So we are a week away from heading to Oregon to pick up the Fiddysix Cheby Baeuville wagon. I have some spare parts packed like a fuel pump and parts for the Petronix ignition system if they choose to take a hike on us....... we have a spare tire in the car..... and a jack and tire iron...... I will get some cheap tools out in Oregon to throw in......... I am not anticipating any trouble but it is a 62 year old car although one that has been completely gone through.

It has new Vintage AC and power steering and power disc brakes..... it has a nice big new Aluminum Radiator... and a R7004 tranny. Its a rebuilt 283 out of a 67 pickup with 7000 miles on the clock...... all bearings have been redone as had the rear end been rebuilt. 3:36 gears..... all new modern wiring......

what could go wrong?

All it has to do is go about 2000 miles to get home with a few side journeys......... I even have a canvas water bag to put on the front.... and a See the USA in your Chevrolet license plate.......

More on this epic adventure later........ have a profound day Guru's.....
