Got about half the miles in we thought we would today....it was hot and the car was running great but we got behind this morning when I discovered I had left the gas cap on the pump back in Bumsuck Oregon..... damn..... so I spent some time running around looking for something that would fit but no joy...... I called the people where we filled up and they had it and are sending it home for us. That was very cool of them. so we are driving with out a gas cap.... and no check engine light came on...... so no worries there...... So we took US 20 out of Mountain Home ID on east to Idaho Falls..... if there is an end to the earth we just fell off it...... 2 claims to fame..... the Craters of the Moon National park, which was kinda cool and Atomic City......were some dumbass who was pissed over a buddy sleeping with his wife blew up a Nuclear Reactor and killed himself and 2 others..... those dudes were so hot they wrapped them in Lead and buried them in a large concrete vault..... still the only three that have been lost to a nuclear reactor mess in the US. That happened in 61. See what fun stuff we are seeing...... Anyway we stopped early at a Holiday Inn Express and then went over to this 50's diner and had steak and eggs with a haystack of hash browns..... damn good eats..... Tomorrow to Jackson Hole and beyond...... Nell was running about 185 to 190 today.... I don't think that is to hot for the 283.......
