After all the miles in the Fiddysix which is a good car to drive....the Corvette seemed like a rocket ship.....power and smooth...... a joy to drive also...... made the 160 miles in 2 hours and 20 minutes so I was moving right along....... One thing that helped is they used to have all these slow downs around the bypasses on US 81..... 55 mph....now they are all at 70 mph......and Nebraska portion of the road was 65 mph but went to 70.........Kansas was at 70 already I believe ...... I spent time Chadwicking the Silver bullet the night before...and knew that would bring rain but it did not......got down and back and in the shop and then it rained........ I am living right........  Today I must mow mow mow the yard....... but first a wee nap........ |
