Just over 4 weeks till we cruise and I'll be busy all the way up to departure day. I see a trend here. Now you know why I love cruising. DNBFS Here's another. The first cruise was a freebee and the taxes and insurance came to $469 The player's club comped us $300 for Sue and $200 for me in casino cash which means we're cruising with $31 left over. In December the cruise cost us $1539 for the cruise, taxes, port charges and insurance. The players club gave Sue $1000 and me $500 casino cash meaning that cruise cost us $39. What's not to like since we like to and would gamble anyway. We are going out of Fort Lauderdale in October, a 1 hour drive and Port Canaveral in Dec. That's a 4 hour drive. All our friends and relatives know we love cruising. Pack and unload once. See multiple ports. All meals and entertainment for the most part are free. And we have a casino just a few floors away. We use our cabin mainly for sleeping and showering and I sneak in a few timely naps. That's why interior cabins make little difference to us. We don't spend all our time there. Another thing is it gives me something to strive for as I wait for the next cruise date. ;)
