Subject: Re: Thursday chat by teebee on 2018/10/18 16:56:22 Well, the dr appointment is over, but now I’m sitting in another waiting room awaiting a CT scan. Another surgery is on tap. Doc was pretty upset that his previous “fix” didn’t hold.....said he only has a 1.5 to 2% failure rate.....but I’m pretty sure he’ll be charging the insurance company for the repeat surgery. Says he’s going to have to put in a bigger mesh to cover most of the abdominal area. The surgery will be about 3 hours. The CT scan is to help guide him in his planning of the surgery. He was extremely sorry that we had to do this again and kept saying he was going to review where he failed on the last one. Trying to schedule it for after Thanksgiving, so I should be almost ‘normal’ by Christmas and be ready to get back to normal routine sometime after the first of the year. |
