I'm hustling trying to get stuff done before I have my surgery, things I won't be able to do for 6 to 8 weeks afterwards. And I've been approached to donate some things for auctions...Pheasants Forever and my GDs dance club, and then my 'normal' projects as well. I am helping a friend redo his kitchen, we assembled his cabinets, mounted doors and drawers Monday and Tuesday and I did a couple of other little things for that the last couple days, finished another cabinet and installed it yesterday, mounted some doors another client had painted, designed some things to cut for GDs thing,helped a couple others with little hour long (or less) projects, looked at another little job for a sweet little ole lady. Today the internet/telephone/cable company will be here in a few minutes to "pre-wire" the house in prep for the fiber. They have to install a box and UPS inside the house and run a wire to my router from the box outside. Supposed to take 4 hours. We host the first round of football playoffs tonight as well. The AD called me yesterday to tell me, "I bought a new controller for the scoreboard. You may want to come up and look at it and see how to run it before the game." .... Gee you really think so? It's only a state playoff game, If I don't have any idea how to run it, it should still be OK.... So I'll go up to school and play around with that today before the game, so I'm at least somewhat familiar with it. I probably need to program it...I did all the others when they got them. Well, that just about catches me up. Mike, I truly hope the interview went well. I don't envy you on the move. Tommy, I hope that you get to feeling better. The weather here is supposed to be really nice, in the low 70s today and clear and light breezes...good day to be in the shop with the doors open. |
