In order to get on the grounds their in house security team runs a background on workers trying to gain entry. Residents are pretty much high income corporate types and ultra wealthy doctors, lawyers, inventors and Indian Chiefs. The home owners have to pay an $8 fee per worker per day just for them to gain access unless your a routine worker. Then the home owners can sponsor you for an access pass. They still do the background and can deny entry. South Florida is a hotbed of illegals. Some have work permits, some have visas, some have fraudulent social security cards. Our guy was asked "Have you ever been arrested before?" He answered "No". which was a lie. He had been arrested in Guatemala. They found his previous arrest and contacted ICE which goes there on spot checks routinely. He had worked on the grounds many times before without issue. This time they scooped him up. Even if you go to visit a friend that lives there and they have notified the gate you are coming, they ask for you license or ID and run you through the data base. It's easier to get on a military installation than get into this place. It's name is Ocean Reef in Key Largo. https://www.oceanreef.com/Home-1888.html |
