Sorry to hear about your son, prayers for you, him and your family. Back at work for me today through Friday. Hoping to duck out early as BF is running to the next town over to pick up a mid century cabinet I snagged at a flea market. Going to use it as a media cabinet under the tv. It's a louvered dresser, 84" American of Martinsville, picked it up for $140. A lady in a group I'm a member of just sold one for $1100. I saw another online that was "refinished" in black ( please don't) for $4500. That's way out of line in my opinion but I feel like I got a really good deal. The brass hardware is all there, the thing is in excellent condition. There's one ding on the right front I can cover easily, and very very small scratch or two on top that will be easily hidden or polished over. The other photo is a google search of other pieces. One lady in the group already told me if I get it home and decide I don't like it, call her she wants it for fair market price. The last photo is a really quick and horrible photoshop of where I'm putting it, probably not to scale. |
