Tommy, how did the pond net turn out?

I took bamboo stock and made a fishing line fence going pole to pole. Placed conch shells on all his landing perches so he couldn't get good footing. Haven't seen him for about 5 days. So far so good but I really wouldn't have minded if he ate 100 or more of my little fish. Herons are killers though. He would have speared my Koi even though he wouldn't eat them. They're way too big for him. A heron will spear a fish and even if the fish gets away it could die from his injuries.
