Re: TWO FEB 19

Good morning, all.

We got back an hour or so ago from our hotel in Philadelphia. We stayed the night in the city because we went to the Black Tie Tailgate yesterday evening, the annual preview charity event for the Philadelphia Auto Show. A good time was had by all, though I don't think there were any concept cars—a change from previous years. Everything was either production or real close to production.

We did get to see the 2020 Jeep Gladiator pickup truck (handsome in a brutish way), the 2020 Lincoln Aviator SUV (great blue paint, nice size), and the 2020 Porsche 911 (still looks like a 911, but bigger than ever).

There's only about a year left on our Impala lease, so we're looking for replacements that fit the rear legroom/not insane money specification. We were happy with the Buick Regal TourX wagon, the new Chevrolet Blazer crossover, the Genesis G80 sedan, and the new Toyota Avalon sedan—so we do have some choices going forward. One big question going forward will be whether to lease another sedan or give in and lease a crossover.
