She's mad as hell. And they broke her exterior door hauling out stuff. Can't get them to deal with her now. Yes Billi it finally stopped raining here and the sun is out, I even catnapped in the hammock outside a bit, nice and warm. Rain due back in near the end of the week although not quite at the usual Biblical proportions we hope. Yes, Andy get those knees fixed and prayers for you until then! Strange day here, got up to go to the nursing home to visit and they called me first, sent her to the hospital. I tried to tell them she had a UTI due to her confusion of course Im not the nurse so she suffers a couple extra days. She should be back now but I"ll visit tomorrow maybe and let her rest today. And, my ex husband called. I heard from him the other day he has a bad heart and said he's just waiting to die, nothing they can or will do for him, doesn't quality for transplant due to smoking and whatever else. Well, he's been in Kansas City for the last month in the hospital, lifestyle changes I suppose and he is the proud recipient of a new heart. I literally cried. He has been given a gift of a new life and a second chance. He's about a year younger than me. Just in time for Easter he said and has lost 38 pounds so he can wear his new Easter suit. This is the same time of year in 2009 I was losing my mother and lost her at 4 days before Easter. He doesn't know the donor family but would like to find them and thank them for his gift. He called me to thank me for inspiration I gave him to continue to make some changes and follow through or something, it was hard to understand as he couldn't talk very loud or clearly. I do not see where I had any input but if he felt I did, so be it. I told him I was very happy for him and he should feel blessed. |
