Subject: Re: MONDAY AGAIN by teebee on 2019/2/26 2:55:18 Hey guys...It was a Monday, the day Rosie and I normally sleep in...but this morning my phone goes off. I don't get up to get it, then Rosies' phone goes off...so then I get up and find it was #2. So I call and she says that #2 GS can't get his car out, because of the slushy crap refroze last night and he was stuck and could I get the boys to school. Yea I can do that. So about 10 minutes later, while I'm getting dressed, phone rings again, it's #2 and she's stuck in her driveway and could I come take her to work. Yea..... So I go over and I'm thinking I'll just get her out. So I hook up the strap and pull her out with little fanfare and she's off to work and I take the two boys to school. So I come home and started assembling the bench ends. Once I have those done, Rosie and I decide to go to the 'city' for shopping. One of the things we gave #2 for Christmas was repairing the ceiling in her front room. It has a suspended ceiling tiles and we are framing it in and will sheet rock and insulate. I have a few days here, so we bought the materials today to that and I will start on that tomorrow. Hopefully, it will be straight forward. That has been my day! Weather was chilly when we got up (28) but warmed up nicely while we were in the 'city' (38). But on the way home, the wind picked up and snow started blowing and by the time we got stuff unloaded, it was freaking cold. (22) And now it's 10 with the wind blowing. |
