Good Evening CGs!

I had a pretty crappy day. Started off ok. Had a buddy stop by so I could do an oil pressure sensor on his Pontiac G8 6.0 liter. Pretty straightforward job. He wants to learn about his car so I let him do the work while giving him instructions. Knocked that out pretty quick.

After that I tackled the wife's car. She was complaining about a shake / stutter while driving/accelerating. I drove it, felt like a cv axle. I assumed it was the parts store junk I put in a few months back. I swapped in an OEM Nissan part ($$$) but the problem was still there. Scratched my head all day and did quite a bit of investigating (and pulling the entire front end apart). Finally found that the driveshaft front u-joint had separated and was literally ready to fall out. When I pulled the driveshaft the front yoke connection fell apart. I'm taking it to a driveshaft shop in the morning and hopefully they can knock it out. That should fix the problem.

TB - sounds like you're keeping busy. Hope you're feeling better.

Hope everyone had a great day!
