Re: 3/21/19 Chat Room

Replaced the ceiling fan yesterday. Apparently the thermo neutron particle disperser in the light kit overheated closing the 7+ year run of that particular unit. Got a similar one from Lowes to keep the esthetics neutral and the price was reduced by $10 to $69.95. Such a deal. Picked up a high fashion bathroom ceiling dome unit made from authentic brushed nickle for $19.95 that looked just like the other one I was replacing only the new one has a screw in bulb fixture instead of some funky 2 prong fluorescent bulb fixture that was in the old one. I get a kick out how most ceiling lights are rated for 60 watt bulbs. Like someone can actually see anything from the light produced from a 60 watt bulb. Dammit I want some light and give my my Vulcan glasses. Of course, Sue called me late in the day to tell me the battery took a $#!+ in the box truck. Fortunately she was near an AutoZone store. I was on my way but she got a jump and parked at the store where they changed out the battery and put in a new battery hold it in place thing. I headed back home. She got to the nursery and called me again. The truck wouldn't start. + terminal bolt was a little loose. I got it most of the way tight and she was hovering over me yelping come on, hurry up. Just tighten the damn thing. It's still a tad loose but I'll tighten better when I'm not under the watchful eye of a raptor. Felt like the bolt bottomed out and I need another 1/4 or half turn to snug it up good or put in a thin washer. And so ... life goes on.

Tommy your job is to do everything Sue tells you to today....copy that?

Impossible. I can't do it. At least not without complaint. She asked me last night what I planned to do today. My plans are always loosely based because of you know who. Cut grass, finish putting sand on the pond beach and possibly spray some round up type stuff and if I have any spare time cut some limbs, pick up some yard trash and pull some weeds.
