That was our good friend Chris, also known as CSS996. I still keep up with Chris regularly on Facebook. He got rid of his Corvette for a Mustang, then got rid of the Mustang for an SUV, and recently got rid of that again for another Mustang but this is the 08 bullitt version. Nice car. And Tommy, to reply to your earlier comment: I don't need to pay a shop to fuck something up that I can fuck up for free  Actually, I stopped at the driveshaft shop today and talked to the guys. Apparently because Nissan uses a friction welded driveshaft it is not serviceable. He told me to try to tack weld the u-joints in place which was my original plan. But he said they won't balance it after that. He said it's a waste of $115 to get it balanced. He said if it doesn't work replace the driveshaft. I can get a new one for around $400 aftermarket.Marcus, it's not a problem if you don't admit it. Hope you Gurus had a great day! |
