Gramps is in full time care and Mom is in a different wing in assisted living yet.... Looks like its going to cost about $13K a month if we leave it like it is.... and really this place is no great shakes..... I'm thinking what 13K a month would buy in a nice home on the beach..... wow..... Gramps did say today that he wanted to go back to the VA home in Montana and of course Ma said she wanted to go wid him..... I'm like .... Really ?? Going to Kansas is one thing but Montana is a whole other deal when they need something...... He is a WW II Vet.... and they have a VA in the town they grew up in in Montana so it is not up to me to say no to a mans request to go home when he's 96........ big decisions coming... Had to drive my baby in the rain almost all the way back...... everything seems to be fine...... paint is still on it...... Have a lovely evening....... I'm thinking a Scotch on the rocks might be in order......  |
