Good Afternoon CGs!

VB - hope you're feeling better by today.

John - congrats on the anniversary.

It's a beautiful day here today. It was a beautiful day yesterday, as well.

Yesterday I was walking the dog and I saw my neighbor a few doors down struggling with his car. He was trying to do some brakes. Good people that I've known for more than a dozen years. The son (doing the brakes) is an electrician and so is his father. His father wired my basement and the son did some work at my mom's house. So I asked him what the problem was - he couldn't get the caliper abutment brackets off. Most of the problem was he was using some junky hand tools and not the right ones. The bolt heads were half rounded off already. So I went home and got big red - 24" Snap-on ratchet (breaker bar) along with the correct sockets and my snap-on manual impact driver set. Took off the bracket bolts without flinching. Then the impact driver made short work of the rotor screws. The rotor was seized on from rust so I showed him how to beat it off with the sledge. Once that was done I left the tools for him to use to do the other side. He was more than impressed and super grateful for the help. Obviously that's just what you do for a friend. Snap-on to the rescue. Sometimes it pays to buy quality tools.

Getting ready for a family vacation so you guys won't hear from me for a few days.

Hope everyone has a great week!
