Good Morning CGs!

Spent all morning yesterday working in the yard and garden. The fence is mostly done but I have to cut and weld some.

After the landscaping I had to head to my buddy's shop. Got there at 3 and started working on a 97 trans am. Needed to rebuild the headlight motors which are the same setup as used in the C5 Corvettes. Knocked that out in about an hour and a half or so. We racked the Rogue and his cousin came over and we started working. It fought us the whole way. Control arms didn't want to seat, jam nuts didn't want to move, etc. We spent a good 4 hours on it. Two new struts, two control arms, two outer tie rod ends, and two sway bar end links. While doing the passenger side the CV axle decided it was done being an axle and the inner race/joint decided to separate. We barely touched it. But 105,000 miles and it was done I guess. So we had to replace that as well. Go figure. We ordered some pizza for lunch so we did take a break to collect our thoughts. Finally got out of there around 11.

Sitting at Discount Tire now. I'm a waiter so it's already been an hour and a half and they just pulled the car in. It's only two miles from home and I would have walked but it's raining. Oh well.

I need an alignment after this.

"The money pit"

Hope everyone has a great day!
