He finished putting down the last bag and proclaimed proudly "happy birthday" to which he was given the bird in my gesture of appreciation. Slow day at the office, so managed to get my property assessed, next to get the tags renewed online or I guess I can just come back to town early Friday morning. We're headed to Missouri to see our friends that afternoon. They managed to miss the damage from the Jeff City tornado but do have one road closed near them so we will take an alternate route if it isn't open. Glad they're allright but see so many reports and photos of others who aren't. Prayers for everyone affected |
