Subject: RE:Birds---Sun Conure by Oaklands on 2008/2/11 3:37:43 The wife had a green cheek conure (think that is what it was). It wouldn't talk and didn't like men. Little bast&rd bit me on a few occasions. They are kind of messy. Start off with a parakeet and see how you like them. Not a big investment. Conures are not known to be big talkers. Plus they are not big enough to eat if you don't like them.  We ended up giving him away and he is now in bird heaven. ummm more likely bird hell. That is very high for a conure unless there is something special about that particular breed. |
