Mine pack up to attack anything that moves and there a lot of things that move in my yard. Young birds out of the nest , frogs, toads, lizards, rabbits and more. We've been lucky with the coons and foxes so far. The toads in particular carry a toxic liquid they ooze for protection. Sometimes we we a dog come to the door frothing at the mouth and shaking their head. Obviously they latched on to a toad. We have to rinse their mouths and clean their gums. You would think they would learn but no. it happens over and over again. My back left me out of commission today so I opted to sleep much of he day away. I did manage to knock out a blood test and a ct scan this morning. It's part of a heart screening to see if I am a candidate to get off my meds. We'll find out in 6 weeks. That's when I go back to see my cardiologist. |
