One of those rules that was reinterpreted or something that faded in importance. So many general rules have faded in importance and have been replaced with new rules protected by law. So the rules I grasped in my formative years are now outdated. It comes with aging I guess. The world today is not the world I grew up in. When I was a kid spitting was such a big deal they used to post signs warning of fines if one might spit in the wrong place. Spitting appears to be one of the least of our social problems today. I'm sure there are still many anti spitting laws on the books just nobody gives a spit anymore. |
