Subject: Re: Sunday afternoon 7-7-19 by teebee on 2019/7/7 21:15:12 Well, both girls finished the triathlon. #1 finished ahead of #1gd by about 15 minutes. By the time they came in the heat was on. I headed back to the pickup before the rest. I was beat by the time I got back. I came back and headed straight to the shower. #1s family is really into the soccer thing, so we had to watch the World Cup final. In case you hadn’t heard, the USA women won it. As soon as it was over we headed out to watch #4gs play baseball. About a 20 minute ride to the west from their house. Got there in the bottom of the 1st inning. It was sunny, hot, humid and not much breeze...basically, it was miserable. But we stayed until the very end...oh, and they lost and are now done for the season. Got back and I really wanted to take another shower, but didn’t. I will tonight before I go to bed. So, we called #3 and told her we would be over to see them and take them out for supper this evening. So right now, we are sitting in the house where it is cool and dry (more or less) watching their two girls and we brought one of #1s boys over here with us and they are playing games. Me, I’m about to take a nap. Too early for me to have gotten up and do all I’ve done in the heat. |
