Re: 25 JULY 19

Morning guys...slept much better than the night before. I downloaded the pictures from my “driving experience” at the NCM Motorsport Park. I’ll try to post one or two here soon.

The experience was well worth the $50 it cost, even if we were following a pace car. The speeds we did weren’t “blistering”, but, I know I saw 85 once going down the long straight, but that was hardly anything compared to the .83 G, I saw, once on the downhill, left hand, hairpin curve. I’m pretty sure that the speeds and Gs I saw weren’t the highs, as I was busy just trying to concentrate on following the pace car and duplicate his line. Most of the run, I did, in third gear. I did shift into fourth once, but immediately regretted it, as soon as I did, I needed to shift back to third to keep the RPMs up to pull through the curve we were going through.

I highly recommend this experience for anyone who visits Bowling Green, the NCM and the Motorsport Park.

Not a lot on the agenda for today...I think I’ll give 007 a bath. It’s supposed to be in the mid 80s today....quite comfortable for KC in late July. I hope all of you have a great day.
