Subject: Re: 11 AUG 19 by TommyT-Bone on 2019/8/11 13:34:08 Yesterday we toured a 41,000 sq ft. residence that is in the final stages of construction. 38,000 sq ft of it is living space which includes a home theater and bowling ally. It sits on 30 acres of land and has fruit trees planted on about 10 acres of it. I was last there about a year and a half ago. Absolutely unbelievable. The owner said to me you can now say you've been in the biggest house in Florida. I told him I can now say I've been in the biggest house if my life. The garage is bigger than the average home. A pond with waterfalls, swans, geese and African cranes. A huge pool, an average size pool that has water warmed to hot tub temps and a well water pool that has a constant flow of well water that averages about 72*. Also has two Tiki huts that would rival the largest structures on the Miccosukee Indian Reservation. I didn't take any pics as I did not want to invade the owners privacy. The family is very friendly with Sue and regularly invite us out to dinner. Just regular folks with a ton of money. He's a real estate developer and as we were discussing fortunes he said to me "And sometimes you just get lucky." I told him for him to amass what he has it took vision. Vision and perseverance. I'm happy for them. He started at the bottom and worked his way up. Good for him. Somebody has to do it. |
