Then we went down and hooked up a trailer and headed over to the 'city' to pick up my "special order" from Menards.....didn't anticipate it would take all morning, but it did. Then came home and unloaded it. Then back to the shop to do a little work in there. After that, I went over to the house where I'm ramrodding the remodel, to meet with three of the four sons. Barely got home in time to go to church. Don, I installed several Roku devices, but mostly FireTV stick...both the standard and 4K versions. It kind of depends on what services you are running as to which one to use. I'll throw another wrench in the works for you...I don't use either one (Roku or FireTV), I use Apple TV. So far, Apple TV is the only one that works with all the services (that I am aware of). I tested DirectTV Now (I think it is now called ATT something), Hulu Plus Live, YouTube TV (this one has local channels), Pluto and a few others I can't recall at the moment. Roku and Fire don't work with all the different services, so make sure what you are going to use will work with the device. If you have specific questions, ask away, and I'll try to answer them. |
