My neighbor and I went to the shed, hoked up the trailer with all the old siding on it, called my daughter (who works for Road and Bridge, which is in charge of the landfill) to let her know to let the director out there know we were on our way. He was going to soak the siding good once we dumped it and cover it up. After that Rosie and I headed over to the 'city' to do our grocery shopping and my shopping at Menards, for materials for the kitchen remodel. By the time we got home it was 3pm. Unloaded our stuff at home and then over to the house to drop off the electrical supplies I bought. Came home and worked on some trim pieces until Rosie had supper ready. It was a chilly start, upper 20s and the south breeze made it quite chilly while we were out at the landfill. By the time we headed to the 'city', it was starting to warm up and by the time we got home it was in the mid 60s. Looks like about the same weather scenario for the next 5 or 6 days. I can take that. My back aches until I get up and moving, then, I'm pretty good all day. Stretching helps early on. We all tend to over-do at times. Letty take care of that foot. Tommy...the back....Oh I laughed out loud reading that little jewel, read it to Rosie and she giggled too. |
