You have probably heard me mention something about the impact of an ever increasing population. Here is a quote of one of my posts on a the South Florida Wildlands Association Facebook page. "Politicians have done little to protect and more to spur development believing that more tax revenue and consumer spending is beneficial. I've watched the demise through a few decades now. The contamination of Florida and Biscayne Bays. The loss off habitat and native species. The introduction of non natives species throughout the state and waterways. How much is too much? We've already passed that point. If you know where to find the real Florida, enjoy it while you can before the plans are in place. They're going to "Pave paradise and put up a parking lot." " |
