Everything has been taken down, boxed and stacked neatly in the shed for whomever may have the pleasure of dragging it out and putting it out again next year. I have 2 Hanukkah displays out front. They will come down tomorrow since Hanukkah isn't over yet. Took me two days to put it up and one to take down. I was on a mission. It took everything I had energy wise to get it all done but it's history now. Today I break out the suitcases and pack, plus get all the needed documents together. Sue has foot surgery coming up on the January 16th. Her eye has not even fully healed yet. On the 18th of Jan. we are slated to go to the Keys for a week. Not looking forward to more nursing duties but it's not exactly like I have a choice. That is also 2+ hours from Miami if I have to make a trip to her doctors. I'm sure we will because they will have to remove the dressing. Near the end of the Keys week Sue has another Garden Club show in Marathon Florida. Sue will go home Thursday and have the guys load the truck. Stay home overnight. Drive down and set up the show Friday morning. Come back to the resort for the rest of Friday. Saturday morning she will go to the show and I will drive home and unpack everything we brought. After all that I think I will look for a place to sit a spell. |
