Downside is we bought a house in the wrong place. Every time we went to check it out day or night, all was peaceful. He works a ton and I am busy as well, we rarely get to go places. No "real" fly away vaca in 30 years for me, never for him I don't guess. Small beach trips here and there. So - our backyard is our sancutary. We were unaware there were 4 small homeschooled kids next door and now they've added 3 barking dogs. Plus a basketball goal that is right up against my fence and a motor home that hasn't moved in 4 years. This house had everything we were looking for all within our budget. I'm already ready to get out. And, "town" is moving closer. There's been a bunch of businesses pop up along the previously deserted access road that goes by our house and now the state highway dept is planning to widen the other road that goes around us. More traffic. And it's a small redneck town full of low-iq people as it is who think loud mufflers equate to pecker size. I feel sorry for those on the widenened highway who stand to lose 30ft of their yard tho. If you buy a property it all should be yours period, not where they can continually take 'easements' until they're literally at your front door. These people have been here 60 years with nice large homes. Our area used to be "out in the country" |
