Then we changed clothes and headed over to the 'city' to attend a Kansas Honor Flight fundraiser. then run back home to attend the presentation of the medals (the medal case I built a couple weeks back) for the Korean Vet (and father of a good friend). He was really surprised. Had an Adjutant General here from Topeka, a Colonel and another NCO to do the presentation ..... quite moving, he didn't suspect a thing until about 2 minutes before it happened. There were 28 other Vets there and probably 100 other people to see this very honorable presentation.    |
