Re: SUNDAY 19 JANUARY

Hey guys...got up and headed out to the house trim job (it was their choice on time). I thought we were in for hanging the barn door, well, that idea got changed when we got out there and they wanted to change a few things that affected doing that. So we regrouped and did some other work, both in the house and back at the shop. Spent most of the day working on several different things. The owners had to go over to the 'city' and pick up some more lumber, they dropped it off about 7:30 this evening and Rosie is going to stain it tomorrow and I'll spray it later. I also changed oil in the Caddy this afternoon, as we will be taking it to KC early Friday morning.

GS #1 called and said he had tomorrow off and could I do the brakes on his GFs car. We told them, as a Christmas present, that I would do that for them. I got the parts in last week and just waiting for a time to do it. So, I'll do that tomorrow. The front brakes are really bad, rotors have deep grooves, back brakes not as bad, but still need changing, I'm sure. Problem is, I was watching a video on doing the back brakes, and it appears that I need a Caliper Wind-back tool kit to get the piston compressed back into the caliper. Sent a text to the auto-shop teacher to see if the school had one...nope. So in the morning, before GS gets here, I'll go out to the repair shop that does my work when I don't want to mess with things (former student) and see if they have one and last resort I'll check with the auto parts store to see if they have one to borrow/rent or buy. Amazon has one for less than $20, and I could have it delivered Tuesday. I would really like to just get it done tomorrow.

Time for bed guys......
