Yesterday, I got up and around early and was back at the church hall to bed the tape on the sheetrock we hung Monday. I was figuring that I would probably be doing it myself, but two other guys showed up to help me. So with three of us bedding the tape we were done in about 2 1/2 hours. Then after lunch we all went back to lay a coat on top.... another hour and a half. This morning, I went back up there to add another brace, as when we were sheetrocking, I felt there was one spot that seemed to be a bit wobblely. Two others showed up to wet-mop the floor to clean up the sheetrock dust that we created hanging it. This afternoon I worked on some cabinet parts for my former student/now carpentry teacher at the regional Tech school in a project I'm helping his class with. I'll be headed up there Friday to do that. It has been cold here but is supposed to warm a little bit as the next few days come. |
